Submit A Manuscript
Submissions to the Journal should be made using DFI’s Editorial Manager which can be accessed at https://www.editorialmanager.com/dfi/.
Types of papers included in the DFI Journal are: Research Papers, Technical Notes, State-of-the-Art Reviews, Case Studies, Book Reviews, Forum Papers and Discussions. For more specific information on how to prepare a manuscript and its technical content, please review our Author Guidelines. Special Guidelines for Book Reviews can be found here. Guidance on publications ethics and requirements are provided in the Author Guidelines as well.
An editor of choice can be requested in accordance with the technical area of the manuscript submitted. A list of the complete editorial board can be found here.
Authors Fees
There are no author and publication fees for standard publishing in the DFI Journal. DFI offers authors the option to make their papers Open Access and freely available to the general public. Guidelines and costs associated with Open Access publishing are explained in the Journal’s Author Services section.
Post Publication Discussions and Corrections
Authors who wish to submit a discussion to their own or other authors manuscript are encouraged to prepare a formal discussion per author guidelines. This also includes corrections of previously published materials by the author. In case of a post-publication correction, a precise identification of the previously published article, including a detailed description of erroneous content is required. Authors who wish to correct their publication record due to a name change are requested to contact the Editorial office with your request by emailing journal@dfi.org.
